Welcome to Kalalaya Foundation and Kalalaya College of Music and Fine Arts. By accessing our website, enrolling in our programs, or participating in our events, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with admission or registration.

1. General

Kalalaya College of Music and Fine Arts functions under its official academic body, Kalalaya Centre for Performing Arts and Cultural Studies. All admissions, examinations, certifications, and cultural programs are conducted according to institutional guidelines and affiliated academic standards. The institution reserves the right to update policies, course structure, schedules, and regulations as required.

2. Admission Policy

Admission to Diploma, Certificate, and Grade Programs is subject to eligibility criteria, seat availability, and verification of submitted documents. The institution reserves the right to approve or decline any application without obligation to provide specific reasons.

3. Fee Payment Policy

All course fees must be paid within the stipulated timeline communicated during admission. Fees may include tuition fees, examination fees, registration fees, and event participation charges where applicable. Failure to pay fees within the prescribed period may result in suspension from classes or examinations.

4. No Refund Policy

All fees paid toward admission, tuition, examinations, workshops, festivals, cultural programs, or any event conducted by Kalalaya Foundation are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

This includes but is not limited to voluntary withdrawal from the course, inability to attend classes (online or offline), non-participation in examinations, event cancellation by the participant, or personal, medical, or scheduling reasons. Once payment is made, it is considered final and binding. Students and participants are advised to carefully review program details before completing registration.

5. Online Mode Policy

For programs conducted in online mode, students are responsible for ensuring proper internet connectivity, device compatibility, and technical readiness. The institution is not responsible for disruptions caused by personal technical issues.

6. Examination and Certification

Examinations will be conducted as per institutional and affiliated university guidelines. Certification will be issued only upon successful completion of course requirements, attendance criteria, and examination standards.

7. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to maintain discipline, respect faculty and fellow students, and uphold the values of Indian classical arts. Any form of misconduct, misuse of the institution’s name, or violation of ethical standards may result in termination without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials, syllabus documents, recordings, and academic content provided by Kalalaya Foundation are the intellectual property of the institution. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

9. Event and Festival Participation

Participation in festivals, temple performances, arangetrams, and cultural events is subject to eligibility, rehearsal requirements, and institutional approval. The institution reserves the right to modify schedules, venues, or event formats if required due to administrative or external factors.

10. Limitation of Liability

Kalalaya Foundation shall not be held liable for any indirect or incidental loss arising from participation in courses, examinations, or events. All activities are conducted with professional care and academic integrity.

11. Governing Jurisdiction

All disputes, if any, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
